About

Reading Time: 2 minutes

A software engineer who would rather have been a student of history and archaeology; interested in the past, present and future of India.

This blog grew out of wanting to find a way to open up my child to the wonders of India, in particular Indian history beyond the text books. Our conversations would always take us on a whirlwind tour of the past of this land, its varied and rich heritage, geography and culture and how this country is governed and run. Blogging what we would discuss turned out to be a natural outcome and I hope you find it worthwhile of your time – thank you for visiting.

This blog is dedicated to the memory of my high school Social Studies teacher, late Sukumaran Sir – thank you Sir for teaching history as it should be taught: as a story.

If you’d like to contact me on any of the blogs published here or discuss them further do drop me a note.
